Art workshop last Friday

Four facilitators from ATHRC facilitated an art workshop with the women at the shelter last Friday. The session was very successful! The women learned about the art of printmaking. They made several prints with various colors and were able to keep them as memoirs. What a fun evening we all had! See our gallery for photos from this workshop!

Thank you!

Thank you for your interest in our student group ! Today’s training was a great turnout, with graduate students from law, social welfare, education, (of course) public, and even a few undergrads! We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with students from different disciplines to develop and facilitate health and legal/employment-related workshops. We look forward to a great quarter ahead! Please do not hesitate to contact us at uclahumanrights@gmail.com if you have any questions 🙂 If you didn’t get a chance to attend our training tonight but are interested in learning more about what we do, let us know!

The training will cover the basics of human trafficking, common health implications, and students’ experiences teaching at the shelter.
